The Department of Peace Studies and the Religion, Culture, and Peace Lab at Payap University will host a three-day lecture and workshop series from November 4 to 6, 2025, featuring distinguished scholar Dr. Anthony Le Duc. The Department of Peace Studies and the Religion, Culture, and Peace Lab at Payap University will host a three-day lecture and workshop series from November 4 to 6, 2025, featuring distinguished scholar Dr. Anthony Le Duc. The event will explore pressing global issues at the intersection of religion, ecology, interculturality, and academic communication.

Dr. Le Duc, Executive Director of the Asian Research Center for Religion and Social Communication and Chief Editor of Religion and Social Communication journal, brings extensive expertise in moral theology, ecology, and the ethics of technology. His latest book, Buddhist Environmental Humanism: Doing Good for Self and Others (Ethics Press, 2025), explores religious approaches to environmental care.

Event Highlights:

  • Tuesday, November 4 (9:00–11:00): Forming a Christian Ecological Conscience as Response to a World in Crisis

  • Wednesday, November 5 (9:00–11:00): Interculturality as Approach to Promoting Social and Environmental Flourishing

  • Thursday, November 6:

    • Morning (9:00–11:00): Workshop on Writing Research Papers for Academic Journals

    • Afternoon (13:00–15:00): Workshop on AI Integration in Academic Publishing: Ethical Principles in Academic Communication

All sessions will take place at the PhD Seminar Room, Department of Peace Studies, Mae Khao Campus, Payap University. The event is open to students, faculty, and members of the public interested in ethics, environmental sustainability, interreligious dialogue, and academic research.
